Saving our high streets is so important, especially after this last year, and to encourage members of the local community to Shop Local, here at Love Horsham we have worked out as a collective, how much money could be going back into Horsham local shops and businesses*, Inspired by Totally Locally’s ‘£5 Concept’
If every adult member of the Horsham District population spent £5 a week in local Horsham shops and businesses, a staggering approximate of £29.9m would be going directly back into our town.
And as Totally Locally say, “it means more jobs, better facilities and nice place for all to live” (as well as keeping our high streets thriving).
So next time you think about going to a chain supermarket or a multinational, consider spending £5 of your budget in our local Horsham shops and businesses.
*The calculation is made using the following formula:
£5 x 115,000 (approximate number of adults in Horsham) x 52 (weeks in the year) = £29,600,000 - how much it’s worth to our town per year.
Following a fundraising drive by the new management team, Partridge Green Youth Football Club (PGYFC) now has a new official sponsor, local door manufacturer Forza Doors Ltd.
