Volunteers Matter to Horsham Matters
Volunteers who give their time, either as individuals or through their companies, are at the heart of the work that Horsham Matters carries out in the community to help those in need.

Central to this is volunteering at our Foodbank Warehouse in Redkiln Close Horsham, where duties include processing incoming food donations, stock checks & restocking, assisting clients at Foodbank sessions, preparing the mobile foodbank vehicle for its 8 weekly sessions and packing parcels of emergency food for delivery to clients who are isolating or sick.
People also generously donate their time to assist at our Foodbank sessions on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings at Lavinia House in central Horsham, driving our mobile Foodbank vehicle to rural towns and villages 4 days a week, helping at our Community Café on a Tuesday or Thursday lunchtime and helping at food appeal collection points.
Volunteering makes a significant impact on supporting those in our community who are struggling financially.
If you would like to volunteer as an individual or if your employer/company provides employee volunteering days and you would like to use yours to support Horsham Foodbank, please contact paula.daly@horsham-matters.org.uk
