What is Love Horsham?
Love Horsham is a new hyper-local initiative set up to help support and promote local independent businesses based in Horsham, to the local town, and the surrounding villages. Our aim is to connect the amazing local business district, with the local community and the villages surrounding Horsham.
In the loud and chaotic world that we live in, it can be difficult for the voice of a hyper-local independent business to be heard above all the noise and chaos around us. Not to mention the difficulties a local business may face when marketing their services and products against multinational companies with deep pockets and huge marketing budgets.
As part of a network of similar projects across Sussex and Surrey, Love Local will also serve as a perfect medium to promote all that is great about Horsham to neighbouring communities, encouraging them to visit, shop and “Love Horsham” .
Who is behind Love Horsham and how did it evolve?
Following on from the success of Love Reigate, the original scheme and territory launched in November 2020 and now with over 80 business partners signed up,
Love Horsham brings together over 40 years’ experience from the consumer loyalty and hyper-local publishing sectors, with many years of business networking in Horsham, and across Sussex and Surrey.
How does Love Horsham operate?
Love Horsham will focus on two main initiatives and as a business you can choose to be a part of both or individually.
Love Horsham Membership – this is a subscription based membership aimed at local residents and those that work locally, encouraging them to spend locally. Purchasing a membership unlocks exclusive offers from local businesses in the Horsham area.
Love Horsham Gift Vouchers
- the perfect gift voucher to give the Horsham resident, that can be spent across a range of participating local businesses on the high street & beyond.
Both initiatives will -
1. Encourage local residents to support local independent businesses and keep spend within the local economy.
2. Support local businesses during the current economic climate and help your future growth, acting as a channel to help you drive sales when you need them.
3. Give something back to the local community via a donation from Love Horsham membership fees which will be given to selected local charities/schools/good causes
(the gift voucher does not include a charity donation).
What charities does Love Horsham support?
Springboard is a caring and committed charity that has been supporting the local community for over 30 years. We work with children, young people and families by offering support, inclusive play and leisure opportunities.
Horsham Matters is a Christian charity that aims to demonstrate love of our neighbour by relieving hardship through the provision of essential services (food, fuel and shelter) in order to make a positive, long-lasting impact on people's lives.
